CALL FOR PAPERS
GVU Journal of Communication Studies, published by the Department of Mass Communication, Glorious Vision University, Ogwa, Edo State, Nigeria, invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit original articles for publication. The journal welcomes high-quality research in all areas of communication, including (but not limited to):
- Corporate and Organizational Communication
- Political, Interpersonal, and Family Communication
- International Communication
- Advertising and Public Relations
- Film and Media Production
- Development Communication
- Media Law and Ethics
- Conflict and Peace Journalism
- New Media, Digital Communication, and Online Publishing
All submissions undergo blind peer review and are accepted year-round.
Guidelines for Submission of Articles
- Manuscripts must include the title of the paper, author’s name(s), institutional affiliation(s), email address(es), and phone number(s) on a cover page.
- An abstract of not more than 250 words should accompany the paper.
- Manuscripts must be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with double line spacing throughout, except for the abstract (single-spaced).
- The total length of the manuscript must not exceed 18 pages (including references).
- References should follow the citation style provided in the official Call for Papers or author guidelines.

- Submit manuscripts as a Microsoft Word document to: gvu_jcs@yahoo.com
- Articles are received and reviewed throughout the year.
- Based on peer reviewers' feedback, authors may be required to revise and resubmit their manuscripts before final acceptance.
